Past Department Commander, Bill Dohl, passed away March 13, 2011. Cards may be sent to Bill's daughter: Shari Dohl, at 818 Dunbury Rd., Fairless Hills, PA 19030. Shari and her sister, Carol Gallagher are members of the Ladies Auxiliary to Post # 4309.
Sandra Nodurf, a member of Auxiliary # 5206 and VAVS Honorary Representative to the Asheville VA, passed away on March 12, 2011. Cards can reach her family at: 97 Ironwood Dr., #12, Hendersonville, NC 28739.
Doris Edwards, President of Asheville Post # 891 has resigned due to health reasons. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Cards may be sent to her at: Doris Edwards, 105 Smith Graveyard Rd., Asheville, NC 28806-9005.
The Ladies Auxiliary to Post # 10400 will change their April 2011 general meeting from the second Wednesday, April 13, 2011, to the third Wednesday, April 20, 2011. This is a onetime only change.
There will be a new Auxiliary instituted shortly. It will be Green-Leagon-Simpson-Lindsey Auxiliary to Post # 9157 in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
Auxiliary Secretaries: Please send your District Convention Delegates and Alternates list to the District Secretary. Do not send them to the Department Secretary.
